Race: Zalmunna (Chaos god)
Height: Generally about 5'7"
Occupation: "God of chaos", self proclaimed.
Skills: Master of shadow magic/ability in all forms, puppetry, shape shifting.
Vulnerabilities: Sideran light magic/ability, being smoted (lol) by the goddesses.
Likes: Causing issues for others, doing what he damn well pleases, causing a rukus, making people uncomfortable, playing games, Orell, the moon.
Dislikes: Siderans, gods/goddesses, some of this brothers, people mucking up his plans.
Personality: Majora is of the devious sort, always plotting against people for his own amusement. He generally doesn't care for other people and love to mess with people's minds and bodies. He's the self-proclaimed "god of chaos" and flaunts it whenever he can. He's often very happy in his own wicked way.
Bio: Majora spends his days mostly in the Shadow lands near Lycoris, not being allowed to interact with mortals much anymore. He sends his minions to do his dirty work on the mortal lands instead and watches from his shadowy dimension where his brothers keep tabs on him. He does visit Orell on the moon often enough, however, mostly for a nice hot baby soup or a passionate romp around the bedroom.
(ZOC Club specific)
Majora was created by the gods after the creation of Hylia just as all the seven great shadows, the Zalmunna, were. They and the seven great lights, the Siderans, were created to protect the balance of light and dark forces on the planet. Majora was placed at the head of the Zalmunna to keep his brothers and sisters under control.
This was a mistake on the part of the gods, however, as the young Majora quickly grew accustomed to his power and began to abuse it. He would do what he wished, taking mortal souls from the collectors before they returned to Lycoris against his siblings' warnings. He would often slack off and visit the mortals in secret, watching them and studying them, experimenting on their bodies and souls for his own twisted amusements.
His siblings would often attempt to advise or scold him, but as the leader he wouldn't listen. He took joy in scaring the mortals and destroying what he believed was his to destroy. He would generally keep his play time to a minimum so as not to cull the wrath of the gods, but enough to catch the eye of a particular Great Fairy who would later be known as Orell, the spirit of the moon.
Majora later rediscovered Orell later and developed a loving relationship with her, the two sharing their love of human flesh and in love with each other's chaotic nature. But with Orell being bound to the moon for her transgressions and Majora with a duty to the shadow lands, they were often apart from eachother.
Eventually, simply to prove a point, Majora broke a most sacred law of the gods and had relations with a Sideran, resulting in Majora being kicked form his position as the leader (the seat being handed to Tenebran) and send to the bottom of the Zalmunna food chain. In a fit of rage he retreated to the mortal realms and rampaged across the lands.
In a hurry to retrieve or stop Majora, the gods, remaining Zalmunna, and Siderans sent Kiri, a fierce deity and devout protector of the balance. Majora refused to return to the shadow lands, but to simply destroy him would throw off the balance greatly. Instead, Kiri sacrificed his own power to seal the two of them into a set of masks so that Majora's power could be contained. The masks were meant to return to the gods to be used should they need the power of either Majora or Kiri, but they became lost in the mortal realm.
Eventually, Majora's Mask was found by a travelling mask salesman and stolen by a forest child. It was during this time of "awakening" that Majora began what he came to call the "Three Days Game" where he called out to his beloved moon spirit, Orell, to return fro the sky to the mortal realm and destroy anyone who would get in their way. He found his old rival's mask and kept it to himself to be sure that no one could use the power against him.
It was then when a young hero in green arrived in Termina to save the people during the three days game. The boy had the power to turn back time, free the Terminian gods, and even defeat all of his minions. Majora grew interested in the boy's power and allowed him to use Kiri's mask in a new game. But he underestimated the boy and was once again thrown into obscurity, thought to be dead.
Many years later, a dark cult wishing to revive the "God of chaos" to do their bidding used the remains of the mask and their own dark magics to bring the being back to the mortal realm. But instead of being able to control that power like they thought, they freed the demonic beast and were all slain in the process.
Majora spent a time in the mortal realm once again, finding out that most of his old minions and followers were hunted and killed by his siblings and their followers. He returned to the shadow lands under the condition that he never step foot in the mortal realm again, and has been rebuilding his following bit by bit under the watchful eye of the other Zalmunna.
A piece of Majora art that I did a while back and gave to *rueyeet
back in...was it March or May? Whenever the Cherry Blossom Festival takes place in DC.
Anyway, so I told her I hadn't scanned it yet, but she can still have it, and she scanned and sent a copy to me, and now I have it 8D Yay!
This was my first time trying to REALLY color Majora in color pencil. I think it turned out decent. Did it once before but it was a rush job. AND it was the first pic with his slightly revised markings. The red eye marking used to be surrounding by glowy purple, I ditched that, and the eye marking on each thigh has changed.
Other than that, he's still basically the same :3

P.S. I can't remember if it was that blue to begin with or that scanner did it. Either way, it still makes me happy to finally upload it :3
